Dark and Lovely Uplift Bleaching Kit

Section the hair — Divide the hair into four sections and work in quadrants. After mixing, begin with one front quadrant using small sections.

Apply to the lengths — Apply Dark & Lovely Uplift Hair Bleach 1 inch away from the scalp, ensuring the mixture evenly coats and is visible throughout the applied areas. Use about two-thirds of the bleach mixture.

Process the lengths — Leave the bleach on for 30–40 minutes. Use the lightening preview test included in the kit as a guide for timing.

Apply to the roots — After 30–40 minutes, apply the remaining bleach mixture to the roots using small ¼-inch sections. Gently smooth the mixture onto the roots, ensuring they are thoroughly saturated.

Process and check lightness — Set a timer for an additional 20–30 minutes. Check a small section of hair to see if the desired lightness has been reached; if needed, reapply the mixture and check every 5 minutes until the desired lightness is achieved.

Rinse thoroughly — Keeping your gloves on, rinse the hair thoroughly with warm water until the water runs clear. Shampooing is not necessary.

Condition and tone — Squeeze excess water from the hair, then apply Violet Toning Care Conditioner (3). Gently work it through the hair and allow it to penetrate for 5 minutes, using a wide-tooth comb if preferred.

Maintain blonde tones — Use Violet Toning Care Conditioner (3) as needed to maintain blonde tones, cool down brassiness, and keep the hair hydrated.

Shake before mixing: Always shake the bottle with the flat cap on for optimal mixing results.

Remove the flat cap after mixing: Never leave the flat cap on after mixing is complete, as the container may burst.

Open the applicator tip after mixing: Never leave the applicator cap tip unopened after mixing, as the container may burst.
