Our multi-use lightener can now be used for a range of both on and off-scalp applications including all over head lightening, highlights and balayage. Providing up to 9 levels of lift, BW2+ lifts past the brass for bright, even results. Our non-pigmented powder mixes into a creamy consistency for easy application and provides clear visibility of lift during the lightening process.

How to Use

Measure the products — Add 2 scoops of lightener and 3 scoops of Clairol Professional Cream Developer to a non-metallic bowl, using a 1:2 weight ratio.

Mix to a creamy consistency — Blend the lightener and developer thoroughly until smooth and creamy. For maximum lift, use 40 Vol. developer with a 1:1.5 weight ratio.

Choose the developer strength — For on-scalp application, use no higher than 20 Vol. developer.

Apply the mixture — Apply the mixture evenly, making sure the hair is fully saturated.

Check the lightness — During processing, check the hair every 5–10 minutes to monitor the desired level of lightness.

Limit processing time — Do not use heat, and do not process for longer than 50 minutes.

Rinse thoroughly — Rinse the hair thoroughly with lukewarm water once the desired lightness is reached.

Shampoo and condition — Shampoo and condition the hair after rinsing to complete the process.
