How to Use

Shake well — Shake the product thoroughly before use.

Cleanse the hair — Gently wash the hair with ApHogee Shampoo for Damaged Hair, rinse thoroughly, and towel blot dry.

Apply the treatment — Apply enough treatment to fully saturate the hair. Comb through with a wide-toothed comb for even distribution.

Dry the treatment — Leave the hair uncovered and place under a medium-heat dryer with high airflow. If using a hand dryer, avoid agitating the hair while it dries. Do not comb or brush the hair once the treatment has dried, as the hair becomes extremely hard.

Rinse thoroughly — Re-wet the hair and gently rinse with warm water to remove all excess dried protein. Towel dry.

Apply moisturizer — Apply ApHogee Balancing Moisturizer to the hair and scalp. Leave on for 2 minutes, then rinse thoroughly.

Finish the service — Proceed with the next service or style the hair as usual.

Before a relaxer — For damaged or delicate hair, apply the treatment at least 24–48 hours before applying a relaxer.

Before bleaching or lifting tint — Wash with ApHogee Shampoo, rinse, and towel blot dry. Follow the general treatment and balancing moisturizer directions, then rinse and dry the hair thoroughly before applying bleach as usual.

Before depositing tint — Wash with ApHogee Shampoo, rinse, and towel blot dry. Follow the general treatment directions, then rinse, towel dry, and apply the depositing tint as usual. Place a plastic cap over the hair and check every 2½ minutes. A warm dryer may be used. Once complete, shampoo thoroughly, apply Balancing Moisturizer, rinse, and proceed with the next service or style.

For maintenance — On damaged, highly thick, or textured hair, follow the general directions and use once every 4–6 weeks.

Care Instructions

Avoid eye contact: Avoid contact with the eyes. If the product gets into the eyes, rinse thoroughly with clean water.
